ÉIREBORN RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

Last updated: 10 August 2026

At Éireborn, we take pride in the quality of our apparel, shooting accessories and lifestyle products. We ask customers to carefully review product descriptions, sizes, colours and specifications before completing an order.

Please choose carefully. Éireborn does not accept returns, refunds or exchanges where you have simply changed your mind, including where you have selected the wrong size or colour. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind

Éireborn does not accept returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

This includes situations where a customer:

  • Decides they no longer want or need the product
  • Finds the same or a similar product cheaper elsewhere
  • Changes their preference after purchasing
  • Orders the wrong colour
  • Orders the wrong size
  • Simply does not like the product after receiving it

Please check product descriptions and sizing information carefully before placing your order.

Australian Consumer Law does not require a business to provide a refund, replacement or exchange where the customer simply changes their mind. (ACCC)

Incorrect Size

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct size before purchasing.

Where sizing measurements or a size chart are provided, please check these carefully before ordering.

An incorrectly selected size is not eligible for a refund, however size exchanges are accepted within 14 days where the garment is:

  • Unworn
  • Unwashed
  • In its original condition
  • Returned with its tags attached

The customer is responsible for return and replacement postage unless the item supplied was faulty or incorrect. To request a size exchange, please contact Éireborn with your order number and the size you require. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

This does not apply where the product supplied is materially different from its description, incorrectly labelled, incorrectly supplied by Éireborn, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged
  • Unsafe
  • Significantly different from its description
  • The wrong item due to an Éireborn packing or supply error
  • Otherwise not compliant with Australian Consumer Law

please contact Éireborn as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request photographs, your order number and other information so that we can assess the issue.

Businesses are entitled to assess a product before providing a remedy. (ACCC)

Major Problems

Under Australian Consumer Law, if a product has a major problem, you may be entitled to choose between a refund or replacement.

A major problem can include circumstances where the product is unsafe, substantially different from its description, or cannot be used for its normal purpose and cannot easily be fixed within a reasonable time. (ACCC)

Where a refund is legally required, it will generally be for the full amount paid for the affected product and provided using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. (ACCC)

Minor Problems

If a product has a minor problem, Éireborn may choose to repair or otherwise remedy the problem within a reasonable time.

Australian Consumer Law does not necessarily require a refund or replacement for a minor problem where the problem can be properly remedied. (ACCC)

Proof of Purchase

We may require reasonable proof of purchase before processing a return or claim.

Examples include:

  • Order confirmation
  • Receipt
  • Invoice
  • Transaction record
  • Other evidence showing the product was purchased from Éireborn

A faulty product does not necessarily need to be returned in its original packaging for Australian Consumer Law rights to apply. (ACCC)

Return Shipping for Faulty Products

For products that can reasonably be returned by post, customers may initially be required to return the product for assessment.

If Éireborn confirms that the product has a fault covered by Australian Consumer Law, we will reimburse reasonable return postage or transport costs paid by the customer. Customers should retain their postage receipts. (ACCC)

If the product is assessed and no fault or other consumer guarantee issue is found, the customer may be responsible for reasonable return, collection or inspection costs where permitted by law and where those costs have been properly disclosed. (ACCC)

Sale and Promotional Items

Sale, clearance and promotional products are also covered by Australian Consumer Law.

Accordingly, a sale item cannot be excluded from a legally required remedy merely because it was discounted. (ACCC)

However, Éireborn does not accept change-of-mind returns on sale or full-price products.

Misuse, Wear or Damage

Éireborn is not required to provide a refund, repair or replacement where a problem has been caused by:

  • Misuse
  • Neglect
  • Accidental damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Failure to follow reasonable care instructions
  • Alteration or modification of the product
  • Damage caused after delivery that was not due to a product fault

Consumer guarantees also generally do not apply where the customer knew of a particular fault before purchasing the product. (ACCC)

Our Australian Consumer Law Commitment

Nothing in this Returns & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Éireborn will honour all applicable consumer guarantees.
